Increased WordPress Security for our Business Hosting Clients

Our team is constantly searching out new ways to help increase the security of our client’s websites on our Business hosting platform, and today we have rolled out a new security feature.  The majority of our clients host WordPress sites with us, and we also love WordPress sites!  However, it is very important to ensure that your WordPress site is kept up-to-date, as vulnerabilities, security issues and bugs are found regularly.  WordPress is very good on staying on top of issues, and they release updates for WordPress on a frequent basis.
In order to help our clients stay on top of these security releases, our security scanner has now been updated to scan all our clients websites, and when it finds a WordPress installation that is not updated to the latest version of WordPress, it will flag that website and automatically email our client to notify them of the problem.  In this way, you don’t have to constantly watch your website, but instead can rely on our security alerts system to let you know when it’s time to update.   This new service will email an alert once per week, and will continue sending alerts unti the website has been updated.
